Alpine Club Of Canada

Prince George Section

Everyone is welcome. Join us!

The Prince George Section of the ACC is located in the heart of British Columbia, near the geographical centre of the province. We are active in the summer months with rock climbing, hiking and mountaineering trips and even more active in the winter months on skis and splitboards.

We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished as a section of the ACC and when we look to the future, we see many opportunities for us to grow and provide more services to those members of the club living in northern British Columbia. Join us!

Ladies trail running clinic

Join Jen Segger June 7 & 8 for an intermediate ladies only trail running clinic. Explore our local Pidherny trails starting Friday afternoon, June 7. Step it up to a local mountain run/hike (Grizzly Den/Raven Lake or Sugarbowl/Viking Ridge crossover, depending on snow levels) on Saturday, June 8. Cap off your Saturday with goal setting to help fuel your next adventures. This is a great opportunity to get on-the-trail coaching from Jen, who’s been pushing the limits of endurance sports for over 20 years. She now coaches athletes in disciplines as varied as tackling Mt Everest to running ultra-marathons. See jensegger.com for more information about Jen! Cost: $175 for both days.

For girls aged 9 to 12 who are keen to explore sports and goal setting. Expect to run/hike at least 10 km and be out for 6 to 8 hours. See jensegger.com for more information about Jen! Cost: $100 for mother and up to three daughters.
