About

The Prince George Section of the Alpine Club of Canada offers a wide range of self-propelled, mountain related activities. We organize everything from local hikes to backcountry skiing to ice climbing and mountaineering.

We offer intro trips every year for almost every activity:

• Backcountry skiing (or splitboarding!)
• Ice Climbing
• Rock Climbing
• Snow School - Glacier Travel

We have a monthly newsletter created and emailed by one of our Members at Large, Chris Wagner. We have a bi-monthly meeting at OverHANG. We don't meet during the summer months as everyone is too busy being outside! Regular monthly meetings resume in September and they are listed on our trip schedule.

If you're a part of the UNBC Outdoors club, great news, you're already a member of the PG ACC!

You don't have to be an experienced climber to join the club. All that's required is a love of the mountains. If the mountains are an important part of your life, or you would like them to be, there's a place in the club for you!
